This is the spot for last minute news and updates. 5/27/2006 - Well, it's been over a year since I've posted here. Lots going on. Chris is still doing great in sports, and he's been taking karate for almost a year. He participated in his first tournament a couple months ago. I had forgotten how much I used to enjoy cycling, so I bought a new bike and have started riding again. I was looking for something between my road bike and my hybrid, so I got this. Chris had outgrown his bike, so he got a new one too. We've enjoyed riding together. I'll probably never get back into the shape I was in in 1990, and be able to ride 210 miles in two days, but I hope to hit 50 miles before my allergies kick in late Summer. Oh, I sold Chris's old bike, the tag-along, and one of my old bikes on Craig's List. Everything was gone in a day. Check it out. I had always wanted an Acura Legend, and last year I finally bought one...well, it's out of my system now. I got tired of putting money into it, and traded it a couple days ago for a Scion xB. I wanted something reliable, economical, and different with a lot of space. The xB was a good match. I guess that's all for now. 4/1/2005 - My cousin Brannon got the church website up and running! 1/29/2005 - I sold the Avalon! 1/21/2005 - I bought a '94 Acura Legend GS. It's pearl white with a tan interior. 12/21/2004 - I have a new niece! 12/10/2004 - I've decided to replace the '96 Avalon. It needs some work, and I don't want to spend the money. I've always liked the Acura Legend, so I'm going to try to find a nice '94 or '95 LS or GS sedan. 10/9/2004 - I picked up my new car today!!! A 2005 Acura TL, black with black interior. It's an awesome car. Check out Acura of Cleveland if you want a great deal. It was worth the drive. 7/13/2004 - The Lexus has been sold!!! Stay tuned for the purchase of a 2005 Acura TL, Lord willing... 6/4/2004 - I didn't think it would happen this soon, but I have the car bug again. I really like the 2004 Acura TL. I'll probably wait for a 2005, but it's time to put the Lexus up for sale. 5/12/2004 - Robin decided she wanted a van as her next vehicle. I told her to drive them all and decide what she wanted...she decided on the Toyota Sienna. You can see it on the vehicles page. I sold the '93 Honda Accord to make room. 4/2004 - Basement is carpeted, and my audio/video room is almost completed. Check it out. I know, the walls need pictures. 5/8/2003 - Well, there hasn't been anything here in a while. I haven't had much time to work on the website. We decided to finish the basement, and were fortunate to find a contractor at church. It should be finished in a couple weeks. The next project will be carpeting the newly finished basement. :-) 2/28/2002 - I finally bought a car! I found a good deal on a '99 Lexus LS400. It only had 29k miles. There are pictures on the vehicles page. 1/5/2002 - Christopher's second night away from home. He spent the night with Tyrone (my parents' godson, and one of Christopher's favorite people) and his family before Tyrone went into the Army. Again, he did great, and had a lot of fun. 12/2/2001 - Christopher lost his first tooth. See a picture here. 10/16/2001 - Christopher's first night away from home. My parents came over for dinner, and Chris said he wanted to go with them when they were about to leave. It was his first time, and he did great, and had a lot of fun. 10/8/2001 - I finally decided to pay for web hosting. The free site was down too much, and I was running out of space. I guess you get what you pay for. The new site is http://qwalls.net, and I'll redirect the old URL - http://www.qwalls.com to the new site. 8/12/2001 - I had my 20 year high school reunion this weekend. It was great to see everyone again. You can check out the pictures here. It's hard to believe, but Christopher started school this year (8/2001)! He was five in June. 7/22/2001 Update - We worked on starting and stopping, and Chris can now officially ride without training wheels!!! Stopping was easy since he could do that with training wheels. Starting took a bit longer, but he got it! I'm not sure which one of us is more excited. :-) As of 7/21/2001, Christopher can ride without training wheels!!!!! We still need to work on starting and stopping, but he's doing great. Pictures are on his page. Check it out. I still enjoy bike riding, and Chris still enjoys riding with me, but he's too big for the kiddie seat this year, and when he rides his bike, he gets tired quickly riding with me, so I bought a tag-along, and problem solved. 4/2001 - The Explorer is gone! It took me three weeks to sell, and I got my asking price. If you need to sell a vehicle, check out Autotrader. Last year, I was considering a Chrysler 300M. I still think they look great, and they have a lot of room, but they depreciate pretty quickly, and I'm not sure about the reliability. I think any car I buy in the future will be Japanese. Robin's old Honda had over 208k miles on it when I sold it to a guy at work, and it still runs great. Check it out. It looks great too! I'm thinking about getting a '99 or '00 Acura 3.5 RL, but it isn't definite yet. I've been having trouble finding a used black one that's as clean as I'd like, so I'm also considering a '98 Lexus LS400. Most of you know that we were blessed to build a new home last year (2000). We are now in Pickerington (East of Columbus), and we're putting a lot more miles on the vehicles. There are a couple pictures of the house on the Photo Album page.
