Well, here's my new run-about. I wanted something different, reliable, and economical.

Does a bicycle qualify as a vehicle? Either way, it's an excuse to throw in a picture or two of my son standing by my bike.

My new toy, a 2005 Acura TL purchased 10/9/2004. It's an awesome car! Great stereo, the best navigation system available, 293 voice commands, bluetooth phone interface, a technological wonder. Planned projects include tinted windows (done), aftermarket alarm and remote start, possible subwoofer upgrade, replace interior lights with blue LEDs to match the dash lights (done), illuminated door sills (done), chrome wheels (done), and maybe paint the brake calipers black. It should keep me busy for a while. Oh, I got a great deal at Acura of Cleveland if anyone is in the market for an Acura. It was worth the drive. See what other TL owners have to say at Acura-TL.com.

Notice the blue LEDs in the door and above the rear view mirror.

1/2005, I bought a 1994 Acura Legend as my new Winter car. More pictures. Traded 5/2006 for a Scion xB.

Robin's new van - a 2004 Toyota Sienna LE, purchased 5/2004.

I finally found my "new" car, a '99 Lexus LS400. It only had 29k miles when I purchased it on 2/28/02. 5/2004 update - I'm seriously considering trading it for a 2004 or 2005 Acura TL. 7/13/2004 SOLD!!! Stay tuned for the purchase of a 2005 Acura TL.

Here's a picture of Dad's car, a 2002 Lexus LS430.

My previous vehicle, a 1997 Ford Explorer XLT. Purchased new 10/96, sold 4/2001. It provided reliable transportation for 4.5 years, but it was time for a change, so I sold it while it was still worth something.

Robin's previous car, a 1996 Toyota Avalon purchased 4/99. Now it's my Winter car. Hopefully it will soon be replaced with a '94 or '95 Acura Legend. Currently for sale. Sold 1/2005.

My Dad made me an offer I couldn't refuse, so I bought his '93 Honda Accord. It only had 97k miles, which is practically new for a Honda. Sold 5/2004 with 152k miles. I should have kept it and traded the Avalon.

This was Robin's previous car until 4/99, a 1991 Honda Accord LX. Then it was my run-about. Then it was my daily driver when I sold the Explorer. I planned to keep it until it died just to see how long it would last, but my Dad made me an offer I couldn't refuse on the '93 Accord SE above, so I sold it with almost 209,000 miles for $2500. I paid $12,400 for it in '93. Do you see why I'm so fond of Hondas?
